Science has precisely bring revolution to the every single field in the universe, when there are good things, there are also bad things of bad boys who really don’t want to disclose their selfs, but passionate to exposed their hacking materials to the world.
To prevent hacking international internet world has held a competition on 02/14/2012 of International Cyber Drill, who’s man focus to stop hackers and give max security to the internet users around the world.
“For the first time from Pakistan,four members of Pakistan Information Security Association & four students of National University of Science & Technology participated in this event and won the competition.”
“The aim of International Cyber Drill Competition was to learn about the tricks and techniques of Cyber security and how to secure internet/computers/users from hackers and hack attacks”
Between 25 teams of experts from 20 countries, Pakistani Team has won the competition.
Farhat Masood was also in the competition to prevent hackers, while talking to her she said, “Cyber drill runs for approx four hours in which we have to stop and to break the 10 different viruses. she said that theme of the competition was Advanced Persistent Attack
“Farhat said that her team took part in the competition from Islamabad under observation of Pakistan Information of Security Association” She said that world of information technology is now taking serious actions to stop cyber attacks.
Farhat said that there is no institute which provide or teach about the internet services even on graduate level except NUST.
Pakistan Information of Security Association is a private institute, which led under ex General of FIA Ammar Jaffri to train security services.
This competition was organised by Asia Pacific Computers Emergency Response Team. APCERT was founded in 2005 to exchange ideas, and to help in internet security services.
Expert participants of this competitions were Pakistan, Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia , Korea, Japan, Myanmar, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Egypt.
